Here ya go John

Per John's wonderful suggestion - I took a minute and converted this photo to black and white.  I like it.  Instead of simply clicking black and white I completely desaturated the photo and slighlty upped the highlights and sharpness.  I don't have photo shop so just did this through iphoto.  I haven't really done much in the way of manipulation of photos - yet another aspect I will eventually learn.

I like it, but I'm partial to black and white for some reason. Are you a Windows or Mac user? If Windows, I might be able to get a copy for you of Adobe Photoshop CS. Not the latest, but a couple versions before and there aren't too many differences. Let me know, and I'll bring it to class.

Sorry to bother you again, but I am getting a new Canon PIXMA Pro9500 printer and am not going to need my old one anymore. My old printer is the Canon i9900 and was wondering if you were interested in it for free since you guys weren't happy with your printer. Let me know, if you want it.

I hope I'm not bugging you, but I picked up my new printer today and while I was there I checked on some prices for paper and ink. I got 15 sheets of Photo Paper Pro which is the top of the line paper for $14.99. That is about $.93 cents per print. Costco charges $1.49 for their 8 x 10 prints. Ink is around 12 dollars. The ink will last longer than 15 prints as well. In fact, you can get the good paper for $12 on the internet. It should cost a little less or about the same than having prints made at Costco.

Hope this information helps,
John

P.S. How's the motion blur going? I haven't had a chance to shoot yet.
