1. Love this shot!!! Great detail and lighting. The depth of field is great. Detail can be seen all the way through. Composition is really good. The texture and color are excellent. One of my favorite shots.

First and foremost, I am new to photography. I'm a stay at home mom with a newfound hobby. I've always taken pictures, but I am finally beginning to learn how to actually use my camera. When I have the time, I shoot a Nikon D50 and use three different lenses. I wanted to create a place where I could post my work and obtain feedback. I am definitely open to comments and suggestions. I know that this will help me to learn and further my knowledge. I'm loving taking pictures and eager to learn more. Thanks for visiting!

usually I am not a fan of roses, but you got some great shots! The color and lighting is great :-) It makes the rose look appealing!
